DebuVital

Food for special medical purposes. A product in the form of enteric capsules containing sodium butyric acid (sodium butyrate – 300 mg) in the form of microgranules. Butyric acid is an essential energy source for the epithelium of the digestive tract. The special form of the microgranules means that the

release of sodium butyrate takes place along the entire length of the small and large intestine.

Sodium butyrate is recommended for dietary management:

• in case of intestinal hypersensitivity (irritable bowel syndrome – IBS),
• in disorders of intestinal microflora,
• in diarrhoea after antibiotic therapy,
• in inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa,
• in short-chain fatty acid deficiencies,
• in patients after cancer treatment (e.g. in intestinal inflammation after radiotherapy).

 

RECOMMENDED DAILY PORTION:

• Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, in the morning and in the evening; it is recommended to use the preparation for at least 3 months.
• Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule a day, preferably in the evening; it is recommended to use the preparation for at least 6 weeks.
• Method of administration: swallow the capsule whole (without chewing or spilling the contents) with 3/4 of a glass of lukewarm or cool water. Preferably take during a meal.

 

INGREDIENTS:

Sodium butyrate, maltodextrin, capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, gellan gum), anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.

The product is taken under medical supervision.

The product is intended for adults and children over 7 years of age.

The product must not be used as the sole source of nutrition.

The product is not intended for parenteral use.

May contain derivatives of cereals containing gluten, soybeans and milk.

Store at room temperature in a dry place, in closed packaging, out of the reach of small children.
