Description
A complete nutritional product based on whey protein for dietary management in disease-related malnutrition in patients with diabetes and patients with hyperglycemia.
RECODIAB contains slowly digestible starch with a low glycemic index. The process of intestinal digestion takes from 20 to 120 minutes, resulting in slower glucose release into the blood and maintaining stable blood glucose levels. RECODIAB contains all essential nutrients: protein, carbohydrates, fat, dietary fiber, and a full range of vitamins and minerals.
The concentrated form of the product facilitates administration and does not additionally burden the patient’s body. The protein present in the product is the highest quality whey protein concentrate (WPC) with a biological value (BV) of 104.
A nutritionally complete food product designed to meet the needs of individuals:
- during the convalescence period after illness or surgery,
- who are malnourished,
- who are emaciated.
For dietary management:
- in disease-related malnutrition in patients with diabetes and patients with hyperglycemia.
RECOMMENDED DAILY PORTION:
- RECODIAB can be used as the sole source of nutrition (6 servings per day) or as a dietary supplement or partial meal replacement (1-3 servings per day).
